This year we published another paper in the Conference Proceedings of the EuroSPI. This year’s title is “A Classification of Roles for Gamification in Business – a CHANGCE-thinking Approach”. One of the topics of the conference is gamification within change management and takes place from the 5th to the 7th of September in Bilbao, Spain.

In our work we describe a case study which examines the classification of roles that CHANGCE-thinking and the CHANGCE-Game incorporate. Participants choose between the Spirit-, Space-, Skill-, Collaboration-, Businessman-, Flow-, Customer- und Social Minder Type and thereby have the opportunity to jump out of their day-to-day functions into new characters. We observe that as a result hierarchies are broken, a change of perspective is provoked and creativity facilitated.
